Mitch Byers began his recruiting career with Management Recruiting International (MRI), the world’s largest search and recruitment organization with 1200 offices in North America, Europe, and Asia. This provided the foundation for understanding the interview process and the introduction to properly preparing for the interview.
Following MRI, he served as Account Manager for the Lucas Group, one of the nation’s largest non-franchised recruitment firms, with 12 offices in the U.S. He worked in their IT Services Division, concentrating on permanent placement of Senior IT professionals. Mitch was responsible for recruiting a Fortune 500 Chief Knowledge Officer that led to the company’s largest fee in 29 years.
Moving from retained and contingency searches, Mitch joined Ajilon Consulting and was responsible for fulfilling contract staffing needs and project-based staffing requirements. He served as Technical Recruiting Manager for Ajilon Consulting, a leading provider of information technology solutions with 38 offices in the United States. Currently, he has serves as the Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition at Haven Home Health, LLC, a recognized “Top 500” Agency by HomeCare Elite.
Over the past eleven years, Mitch Byers has interviewed over 3,000 individuals for a variety of professional positions. Since 2002, Mitch has spoke to employees of national organizations and has shared his experiences with job transition networking groups. The basic concepts for the talks culminated in the InterviewRX book, which is based on his training, industry research and practical observations.
Mitch holds a MBA from Texas A&M/Commerce and is a 30 year resident of Dallas, Texas.
